Stories are pulled continuously from the Indian Express, The Hindu, News18 and Firstpost, ordered by publication time rather than by popularity, so what you see at the top is what a newsroom filed most recently — not what an algorithm decided you would click.
Because four newsrooms are merged here, the same event often appears more than once in slightly different words. That is deliberate. Where two reports of one story carry different figures, the difference is usually the source: a provisional count from the scene against a confirmed one from an official statement.
