Privacy policy

The short version
Tathya Post has no accounts, no sign-up and no newsletter list. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, so we hold none of them.
What is stored on your device
Your chosen city is saved in your browser's local storage so the city page opens where you left it. It never leaves your device and clearing your browser data removes it.
Third-party content
Some parts of the site load content from other companies, and those companies can see your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies:
- YouTube (Google) — video thumbnails and players on the Reels page.
- X (Twitter) — embedded timelines on the Trending page.
- Publisher image servers — article pictures load from the newsroom that owns them.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled on this site, it is served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and review how Google uses data from sites that use its services in Google's privacy and terms pages. Third-party vendors may also be opted out via aboutads.info.
Analytics and logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, page requested, user agent) for security and reliability. We run no advertising or profiling analytics of our own.
Children
The site is a general-audience news service and is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect nothing from them.
Your rights and contact
Because we hold no personal data, there is generally nothing to export or erase. For any privacy question, or to ask that a piece of content be removed, write to us via the contact page.
