About Tathya Post

Tathya Post is a news reading service for Indian readers. It gathers what the country is reading right now — national and world headlines, government announcements, markets, technology, sport, entertainment, faith and culture — and puts it on one page that updates through the day, so catching up takes five minutes instead of five apps.

What we publish

We are an aggregator, not a newsroom. Stories are collected from the public feeds of established publishers — The Indian Express, The Hindu, News18, Firstpost, Mint, BBC, The Verge, the Press Information Bureau, The Better India, YourStory and Good News Network among them. Every story names the newsroom that reported it.

A story page here shows the headline, the picture and the summary the publisher syndicates, then sends you to that publisher to read the article. We do not reproduce their text. The single exception is the Press Information Bureau, whose releases are government material issued for republication, and those are shown in full and labelled.

What we write ourselves

Our Briefs are original: explainers on how India's gold rate is actually calculated, how to tell an announced government scheme from a notified one, and how we pick sources. They carry a byline and a date, and they are the part of this site that is ours.

Alongside the news we publish a daily gold and silver rate derived from live international spot prices, trending searches from Google Trends, short video from the official YouTube channels of Indian news networks, and public posts embedded from X.
