How we choose sources, and what we refuse to do with them
Tathya Post is an aggregator. That comes with obligations — to the reader and to the newsrooms whose work fills this page. Here they are in plain terms.

This site gathers reporting rather than producing it. That is a legitimate thing to be, provided the reader always knows whose work they are reading and the newsroom that paid for it gets the visit. Those two rules decide most of the design here.
Which publishers we carry
We use the public RSS feeds of established newsrooms: The Indian Express, The Hindu, News18, Firstpost, Mint, BBC, The Verge, the Press Information Bureau, The Better India, YourStory and Good News Network. Every card names the newsroom before it shows the headline. We do not carry sources that are anonymous, that syndicate press releases as reporting, or that we cannot attribute cleanly.
What we show, and what we do not
For commercial publishers, a story page on Tathya Post shows the headline, the lead image and the summary that publisher puts in its own feed — then a button to the original article. We do not reproduce their article text. Republishing another newsroom's copy in full is taking the value of their work without the visit that funds it, whatever the attribution line says.
The exception is the Press Information Bureau. Government press releases are issued for republication, so those we show in full, labelled as such.
Data we publish ourselves
The gold and silver rates come from the IBJA daily fixing and are labelled indicative, before GST, with the source named on the page. If the source fails we show an estimate and say so rather than quietly printing a stale number. Trending searches come from Google Trends, short video is embedded from the official YouTube channels of Indian news networks, and posts are embedded from X using the platform's own widgets — nothing is scraped from either.
Corrections and removals
If a story is wrong, the correction belongs with the newsroom that reported it, and we will drop the item on request. If you are a rights holder and want your feed removed from this site, write to us through the contact page and we will remove it — no argument, no delay.
